New Additions!

We have added Shetland sheep to our homestead and are working with breeders in the UK and US to conserve the breed. Our goal is to raise Shetlands that are true to the origins of the landrace Shetlands from generations past.

Our Homestead Journey

Join us at Hidden Brook Acres, where we celebrate the joy of nurturing Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats and embracing a sustainable lifestyle in Rhode Island. We love the experience of small-scale homesteading and strive to become more self-sufficient. We raise quality Nigerian Dwarf goats for their delicious milk that is high in butterfat, which is great for cheese production as well as other dairy products.

Our pasture raised chickens keep us well supplied in farm fresh eggs and meat.

Shetland sheep provide fine fleeces that are a hand spinners dream. In addition to raw wool we plan to offer yarn in our farmstand.

In season, the gardens boast a bounty of vegetables for the table as well as culinary and medicinal herbs for cooking and cold processed goat milk soaps.
